Default MDS Question/help

Hey ladies, I got MDS for Christmas and am just now starting to use it. I have everything downloaded just fine on my computer and it all works good. However, I bought a digital download from my demo's website and tried downloading it to MDS. It downloads and it is now there but every time I try to use something it gives me an "MDS error" message. It says "Christmas Cocoa II - ornament small 2.png" may be a corrupted image file. java.lang.NullPointerException

It wouldnt be too bad to just ignore that particular one, but it comes up every single time I go into the "Christmas Cocoa II" embellishments and gives me this message. It is just a pain.

I tried reinstalling everything and I have downloaded the MDS update. Then I found the "MDS troubleshooting" guide and I did everything that it suggested. Still the same.

Anyone else have this problem? Any idea what else I can do to rectify it?

Thanks for any input. I have contacted my demo but she isnt around right now, so I thought I would ask here and see what y'all might think.

Deb

If you are running under Vista or Win7, you will need to run MDS 'as Administrator'. This should remove the error. Good luck.

Default you are welcome

I was getting the same error for some free downloads I tried to add to MDS. After doing some research, this worked. It hasn't been a problem since. I just always open it that way now. I am hoping this will fix my issue with saving templates too, but haven't tried that it. Good luck w/ MDS. I love it!
