Default Making Memories Foam Stamps

Does anyone use these with ink pads? I got a good deal on a closeout at a LSS on an alphabet & some shapes. Do you use them with paint or ink pads? I am thinking with ink pads it will stain & soak in. But it does say you can use them with ink pads.

You would get the best results using SU craft ink, any pigment based ink, or chalk ink. Dye ink would just soak it right up.

I've used mine with dye inks frequently and you get a different look than with pigment inks or paint, but it works. Just depends on the look you're going for. I had no problem using dye inks.

Default foam stamps

I don't know what brand mine is, but I've gotten great results with it using all types of ink and paint too. The stamp was $.99 and worth every penny!

I've used inks with mine. They seem to stamp as well with the inks as with paint. I have had minimal staining but then I usually clean mine with a wipe immediately after use and with soap and water or a stamp cleaner as soon as I can

I usually use paints with the foam stamps, but I agree, the craft ink would work better than the water soluble inks.
