I have the one from the Crop-a-dile makers. It has 2 sizes - 1/4 & 1/2. It is easy to use and works great on acrylic, chipboard, etc. also. It costs around $25 but I think I saw it at a Michael's/JoAnn's recently so you could use a coupon.
Check at home in your DH's workshop first .
Otherwise:
Go to the your local hardware store..... Home depot or whatever and wonder down the metal flashing isle.... Ask at the help desk. It comes in different sizes and rolls.
then after make your way to the tool dept and buy yourself a pair of metal cutters..... I got the cushioned flourescent pair so I could find them on my desk!! ;)
Or use your hubbies if he lets you! I "borrow" a few things from his tool box ( like wood blocks, sandpaper , brushes and some tiny wire pliers etc....)but they don't seem to find their way back!
I have a friend who is new to card making, therefore she doesn't have all of the gizmo's and gadgets yet. She asked me if I knew of a tool that could produce a border of holes -small...like pierced? She needs to make (20) 3x5 cards. Any thoughts? I checked nestabilities but didn't see one, and the fiskars border punch "threading waters" is too large. Help!
I got mine at Lowe's - 5x7 roof flashing - don't get the aluminum ones, they are not magnetized. They sold a package of 100 for $21 - that's only 21 cents a piece.
