Justrite question: clear? cling? original?

I have a number of what I'm calling "original" Justrite stamps -- the rubber ones that have ridges on the back and you mount them onto handles that have matching ridges (I've got round, oval, rectangle, etc.)

I'm intrigued by some of the Justrite clear stamps and can't tell from their website whether these are a clear version of the ridged rubber format, or are they simply clear acrylic stamps (such as Waltzingmouse, PTI, etc.)?

I'm assuming that their "cling stamps" are ridge-less and are like any other rubber cling-backed stamp (like SU! unmounted, for instance). Is that right?

I suppose part of my confusion is that Justrite brought out clear versions of their wooden stamper handles (a great idea that I've used with my rubber font sets), so this made me wonder whether the clear stamps were part of that mode of thinking.

WOW, it has been a while since I have checked out their website. I did not know they have clear stamps now. I have many of the originals and some of their cling. From the looks of it, they clear ones are just like the cling version. They do not require a handle to use. I do like some of the sets I just looked at. May have to go back for another look. Thanks. ;)

The cling and clear stamps can be used with regular acrylic blocks.

Thanks. When I said they don't need to be used with blocks, I was thinking the actual ridged blocks. But somedays the fingers and mind don't run on the same track. Didn't want to confuse the OP.

Are the clear stamps more deeply etched than the rubber?
