Becca Feeken at Amazing Paper Grace makes fantastic bows and she has videos showing how make them. She made a custom Peg Bow maker to make them. She gave the directions for how to make the Peg Bow maker, but I don't even own a saw much less a drill so even though I wanted one for me to make one was not going to happen.
WELL, Today she announced that so many people want one that she found someone to make them and they will be sold through Our Daily Bread Designs
They are being introduced at CHA !!
Look at her site under "Becca Bits" she has several videos showing how to make very interesting bows. She uses her custom Peg Bow maker. The rod on the back of the Bow maker holds the ribbon spool The holes are drilled so you can make any size bow. Love it !
Because I could not make one like Becca's I bought one from another company. However, it is just a very small flat board with a couple of holes and 2 pegs. It is so light weight I couldn't get it to stay put to use it. It jumped all over the table.

Oh, I think that is really nifty!
I picked up a Bow Easy in the Pay it Forward thread, but I still feel like I need a third hand to use it. Becca's sturdy bow-maker gizmo looks like it will serve as my third hand.
I just feel bad that she felt the need to apologize for her "commercial" post. After all she gives to the crafting community, she shouldn't have to worry about that.
Becca makes it look pretty simple in the videos. Her bows are beautiful. I wonder how much the shipping costs are to Canada - if not too much, I think I would order one?
Becca has retired her videos that were on YouTube showing various bows for the Peg Bow Maker. They appear to only be available by DVD with the purchase of a Peg Bow Maker from ODB. For those of us that made our own units following her earlier instructions, can anyone point me in the direction of some alternative videos showing some of the other bows? I'd love to buy the DVD or pay a for an electronic download but that option doesn't seem to be available. Thanks in advance for any alternative sources out there. I can do one basic bow from memory but that's it :-)

She has spend countless hours designing things and then making free tutorial and videos that would have cost us thousands to buy. It is about time she sold something . Plus in my opinion her Peg Bow maker is a bargain . It is made of quality material and design
Just my 2

Just to clarify that I'm not complaining. I would be more than happy to buy the DVD or a download if it was available. I don't see the need to buy a second Peg Bow Maker when I already have one. It would make more sense to sell video separately for those who already have a unit made with the instructions Becca provided on her site (which is still there by the way - that post was not retired).

At this time I don't think there is a way to separtate the DVD from the Peg Bow Maker. It appears to be coming from the manufacture professionaly packaged together. Maybe in time she make figure out a way to sell just the DVD

Iharnish I just re-read my first post to yours and I feel I owe you an apology. It looks curt! I meant it as in support of all that Becca does not that you would not buy the DVD if it was available . Sorry !

Thank you for that. I reread my own post a few times because I couldn't figure out how it looked like I was complaining. I support Becca and am in awe of her talent as well. I'm glad she's able to make some money off her passion :-)

My friend used the pegs in a star foam rather than using a peg board, etc. I used a peg board and it ended up making too large of ribbon. Therefore, I plan to get a star foam to put my pegs in to make different size bows.
Oh thank you for posting this. I had book-marked her blog ages ago meaning to try to make one but I never got around to it, totally worth it to buy it so I'll actually have it (and no splinters LOL)
I found pegs very cheap and my friend just put the poked a hole in the star foam with her pegs to make her bows like Amazing Grace paper craft would.
Amazing Grace is still on the web link and she still has her tutorial about making her bows from her peg board. Always love seeing what she does with her card making.
