You can warm them in the oven on low or put them in the microwave (for 10-15 seconds depending on your watts). Watch out as the wood gets hot. Both ways will loosen the glue and you can gently peel them the mount (foam & rubber) off the block.
Now you can do a number to things:
1) peel the rubber off the foam and remount with EZ Mount
2) put adhesive such as Tack'n Peel, Aileene's Tack it Over and Over on the foam & use as is
3) put adhesive on foam mount, cut out vinyl cling, mount to foam

I know some people just put adhesive on their clear blocks so they don't have to do anything, but unmount their stamps. I use vinyl cling that I have run through my Xyron. I just cut it out in the shape needed & mount.

Have fun going naked!!

ok; I understand now about getting them off the blocks; but not sure on the others. What is the difference with all three options..If I eventually want to unmount alot of these stamps..which way would be the best..sorry but I am completely new at this unmounting stuff. I have collected a pretty good stash of SU! stamps..and just recently started using other stamps with clear acrylic blocs..and I really really like them! I dont even know what vinyl cling is!! I do have a Zyron that laminates; stickerizes (is there a word? lol) or makes magnets...I dont even use it that much; because I dont know what to do with it!! Sorry if I sound absolutely positively clueless! lol

Your not clueless. It's great to do your research before you unmount. That's a great video for re-mounting with EZ Mount. I looked for some info for Tack 'n Peel & vinyl cling. Here's some manufacturer info:

I have done the EZ Mount way on many stamps, & it works great. I don't think you can go wrong no matter what way you choose.
