Default hot fix tool...

I've been reading about this tool and adhering rhinestones with it. I have a few questions. Which tool do u use, do u like it? Also, can u use this to adhere rhinestones to paper?

Thanks,
Sue

I have the one that joann used to sell but the one found at this link is the same thing
http://www.creativecrystal.com/BeJew...ators-s/80.htm
I really like mine, it is really quick to heat up and extremely easy to use. I also use mine to adhere to paper and cardstock all the time, that is just about all I use it for. Hope this helps

I just bought this Kandi product from the Joann online store with a 50% off coupon. It was featured in Debbie Olson's blog so that's a "go buy it" for me She used it on one of her card projects. The photo is "out for publication" though...HTH!

OK ladies another new toy that I am really looking at getting. Can you get these at Micheal's? I know that HL and Joanne's carries them but I live in Canada and we only have the one major craft store here. I have seen them on eBay but It cost $49 Canadian before shipping and I really don't want to pay that much in case I end up not liking it. Thanks for your help and getting me interested in yet another toy for my cards.

I just tried some of my new Hotfix rhinestones...I held them in a tweezers and heated them for a few seconds with my heat gun. Then I stuck them down, and a minute later tried to yank them off. They are STUCK! Yay!!

Just thought you girls might like to know there is a cheaper...less corded alternative! I already have enough cords laying around my space, I dreaded another one, so I am glad this worked out great!

There IS one at Michael's... it is cordless, by Tulip. It is 12.99, and less than $7 with the 40% off coupon. That's worth the risk, I think. I bought one yesterday, but haven't tried it yet...

my Michaels has them (bedazzler brand hotfix) for $10.99 and you can use a 40% coupon on that. It is a great little tool for the job. Love mine. Good luck.
