i buy adtech glue runner refills at walmart, but i'm so sick of them being out everytime i go there, and it is a long drive for me to go to their store, i'm looking to buy them onliline, problem is i'm in canada and i can't find any shops that carry them that will ship to canada, i'm getting so frustrated, i fill out all this info on different sites, and when i get to putting in my address i find that they are a US only site, i've spent hours online, trying to find a place, please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have Michaels they sell them but they are a bit more money for them.
I use this to for my tape runner and Walmart here has been badly stocked on them as well.
I did start buying ZIP DRY from Michaels to use also when I don't have the Adtech and I LOVE it!
I will not warp your paper - even teh thinnest paper does not warp from it. And it only takes a drop so it goes along way.
Here is a place on Amazon that sells them - I do not know though if they ship to Canada http://www.amazon.com/Ad-Tech-Perman.../dp/B0016841LE
If you really need some - let me know as there are 2 places here that sell them and I can get some for you.
Did you try to order them on the web site for Walmart them have them shiped to you or to the site to store feature. I too use these tape runners and when Walmart gets them in I am the one who buys them out well I useual leave one on the peg for someone else You can also find these at Mikes. When I have bought from walmart I have had some rolled backwards which is fruststrating when you are on a roll to finish cards and that is the last refill. My friend also had this problem and went to tombo brand. Just some thoughts. Hope somthing works.
Be careful with the Tombo brand - it does not stick as well and cards tend to fall apart after aawhile. This is why I switched to Adtech in the first place. I will never spend anotehr penny on Tombo tape runners.
I find it too expensive & too much wasted plastic. The best tool I ever bought & well worth the money in the long run (cause you save lots of money on the tape in long run) is my ATG gun & I usually buy 12 rolls (36YARDS a roll) for $48. & they have a warehouse right down the street from me which I just found out about a year ago so I get to save on shipping. 12 rolls usually last me a year or more. I'm making 90 wedding program folders with lots & lots of layers & I have used 10 rolls so far...so they went a long way. Hope that helps you.

How far are you from Calgary? Are you north or south of Calgary? I've seen them in stock here for the last few months.

I was having a problem with the ones i was getting at wally mart and they kept replacing them but then the peg has been empty for the last 3 months!
I've had lots of problems with the Ad Tech tape runners so I purchased an ATG gun.
Then I discovered Scrappy Glue. Found it at my LSS before they went out of business. Went searching online for it and found it at ebay. I stocked up. These days I rarely use my ATG gun. Love the Scrappy Glue. It gives you time to position correctly before adhering but you gotta work fast.

Another great adhesive is Zip Dry. It is a glue but it will never warp your cardstock or DSP and you will never have anything fall apart either. I love as you only need a little bit as its last quite a while.
I buy mine at Michaels with a coupon.
I've asked an employee at WalMart to order them for me and then to set some aside for me. If you keep asking, they will eventually get the hint and start ordering more! Any time I'm at ANY WalMart, I pick up a couple. I now have a stash of about 20 refills! I also have friends keeping an eye on the refill spot.

I've also found that in addition to checking the scrapbook area at Wal-mart, you can also find them occasionally in the craft area where they have artist paint and other art supplies. At least that's the case at two of the stores where I shop.

I agree with the previous poster about zip dry glue. I had problems with the adtech runners - they gummed up and half the adhesive was wasted. If you bug the walmart craft section manager enough, they will probably order some in for you.
Or... you could plan a trip to Calgary and I could take you around to the Walmarts so you can buy it here.
