Default Glitter Problems

I'm hoping someone can tell me what went wrong... I used Heat and Stick powder to apply glitter, following the directions exactly. I used my embossing buddy before stamping the image, and yet I have all kinds of extra glitter on my image. I tried tapping it off, blowing it off, and even tried to gently rub a tissue over it hoping that it would pick the stray pieces up, but no luck. Does anyone have any advice?

I think you may still have a lot of static on your paper. How about tapping your embossing buddy on your paper again and blow/tap the glitter off. Or gently pass/rub a static cling/dryer sheet across your paper.

Glitter is great to work with but days later it pops up in places that are unexpected.

This is why I have switched to stickles. They work great!
