What have I been waiting for??? I've had my BIA for nearly a month (shame on me!) and it has been unpacked, but not used until this morning! I downloaded and printed the info from Zutter Sisters. I bought several packages of o-wires in various colors and sizes and found a great box to store it all (and even have a 'home' for that box!
For my first project, I made a SU! cardstock sampler book. I cut squares of each regular color, the current in colors and the neutrals. I used a 'divider' of whisper white for each family and another whisper white page for the covers. I used the color labels on each square and on the color family dividers (wishing I had waited for the new labels with the new in color labels as I wrote those on). I already am loving it (both the BIA and my new little book!)
Your book looks awesome! I've used my BIA a few times, but for the life of me can't think of anything to "bind" at the moment so it's back on the shelf for a lil while, but I can hear it calling my name......
I am jealous - the projects are all so neat - I have had mine for over 2 years and have never found time to take it out of the box and even look it over - guess I need to do it NOW
Thanks for all your nice comments on my little book. So glad you all like it! It has been really helpful to me already and it's only a few hours old! My daughter (20 years old) just saw it and asked if I made it. She then said, Mom, you have too much time on your hands! She just doesn't get it!
I just realized I goofed up on the initial post - it isn't Zutter Sisters (So sorry!). The website is www.ZutterZisters.com for anyone looking for it.
I think it is fabulous! I love it when I can see and touch papers before I order them. Great job on this. My BIA is collecting dust right now but I have so many things planned for it!
I am positively addicted to mini books and would adore being able to make them myself! I have some of the wee coil-bound scrapbooks that they used to sell at Walmart but haven't been enthused about using them because the coil isn't big enough to accommodate much layering, and the coil gets in the way of stamping and colouring. Once I have a BIA, I can live happily ever after stamping up my scraps and binding them into a book! This is what goes through my mind when I see BIA books like the one in this thread.
