Maybe I am the last person to know about this, but the DollarTree has some beautiful ribbon right now! So if you didn't know about it already - consider yourself enabled. They have 5/8" and 7/8" satin ribbon in a variety of bright or pastel colors, white and vanilla. The spools are 5-6 yards long for only a dollar! I haven't been there in quite a while, but I sure was excited to find these. I have used two of them this weekend, and they were so lovely that I decided I need to let you guys know.
That's pretty and a great match for my favorite pink cardstock. Thanks for enabling me. I'm not sure when I can get to either/both of the Dollar Trees near me but I'll be trying!
Good grief! We were at the Dollar Tree yesterday and I didn't even think about looking for ribbon! Your creations are beautiful, by the way!
Where in the store would I find the ribbons lurking? I might run by there after work today. I'd love to have some vanilla ribbon.
Thanks! My DollarTree has a craft area that has stuff like glitter, glass marbles and pompoms. It is in the same aisle as the frames at our store. Hope that helps!
Ooooooooh....I LOVE the Dollar Tree. I was just there today and bought some pastel sheer ribbon. BEAUTIFUL! and they had an end cap with Miss Elizabeth's chipboard, brads and buttons!! $1.00 a piece!!!!
I live in the Northern Virginia area and purchased multiple rolls of the satin ribbon back in early October. (I'm too embarrassed to admit as to just how many rolls I purchased - but hey... it was only $1.00 a roll!!)
They had tons of ribbon in the wedding section. They had black, white, cream, lavender, pastel pink, blue & yellow. I stocked up on the black since Halloween was rapidly approaching.
FYI - I purchased from multiple stores in my area and always found the ribbon in approximately the same spot in each store (Wedding/Baby Shower section located near the gift wrap section).
Good luck to those of you in search of this ribbon - it really is a nice qaulity ribbon and worth a quick run to the store if you have a dollar tree conveniently located near by... apparently I'll be set with ribbon for approximately the next 5 years! ;)
I was just there yesterday and I also didn't think to look at ribbon. Hoping I can get back within the next few days and find some. Your card is beautiful!

I keep checking my Dollar Tree whenever anyone says they got a great item there...but unfortunately my Dollar Tree is AWFUL! So I didn't find anything...again! Oh well, I didn't need it anyway...right?!
I checked the ribbon I bought against the colors of paper I have. The ribbon matches Bashful Blue, Brilliant Blue, Pink Pirouette, Certainly Celery, Lavendar Lace and Blush Blossom. There isn't a lot of the Brilliant Blue ribbon left at the store and since it isn't pastel I think it might be left over from a previous set of colors.
Fiona - I'm sorry to have gotten your hopes up. At least you are safe from being like me and buying a ridiculous amount of ribbon!

Nope...it really doesn't work that way! There are PLENTY of other ways to find all kinds of ribbon! But ribbon that matches so well is really tempting.....Maybe there is a dollar tree in Loveland....hmmmm....!
Well, if you really want to go over the top , I just checked DollarTree.com and the ribbon is available there. You have to buy it in an 88 pack, but then you can pick it up at the local dollar tree. I'm kind of crazy for ribbon but I would need some crafters to split it with before I would go this route!
For those of you who can find ribbon at your local DollarTree, there are some new colors in. I found spools that matched SU's Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Real Red.
Thanks for posting this! I go to D.T. all the time and passed by that ribbon many times because I figured it was either a cheap-looking ribbon or that there wasn't much on the spool. (I am SO done with M's $1 spools of 3-4 feet!)
I have to run out tomorrow, so maybe I can check it out. We have the BEST D.T. just down the road.
Bummer, I am sorry for you. The DollarTree that is closest to me is small and never has any ribbon either. But fortunately for me there is a larger one that is still pretty close by.

Yep, the Valentine's ribbon that they have right now looks a little like something you would get from the Dots and Dashes line. But even better because it is 5 yards long!
DH wanted to go to DT today so I looked at mine. It's a larger DT and pretty new (about 6 months) and they didn't have any ribbon. :( I really wanted to find the Bermuda Bay colored one.
