Default Enabler Alert -- Target Dollar

I was at Target yesterday and from the Dollar Spot bought 2 packsof chipboard letters (celery/glittered and colored/patterned), 2 packs of Halloween chipboard sticker things, and a pumpkin punch. I'm going back to get a bunch more.

I'm attaching a pic of what I got !!!

I was so excited with the letters (DH just rolled his eyes LOL). I am going to be painting my stamp room celery and have pink and white accents... so these lketters are perfect to make some garlands to hang up. They had other colors, too, and some packs of patterned papers, other punches (fall leaves). I hope Target Dollar Spot keeps having more things like this !!!!!!!! Can't pass for just $1.

Oh, how cute those are! I'll check our Target's bins tomorrow. Those are the cutest Halloween thingies. Hope they're not all gone by the time I get there.

Ok I just left there and here's what I scored.... Very cute perfect size baskets that i can alter to put the body scrub. lotion, lip balm, and shower gels in that iIalso got there. They were apple cinnamon and vanilla . They smell great and are a good size. For a total of $6.00 I have a cute basket that I can give as a gift full of goodies. I bought four sets like that. I also found cards with envelopes that you decorate yourself but they have a pattern to them, punches, cute little alpha stamps, gift bags that match the card sets, a calendar that you can embelish your self for each month. Oh and some nice wood frames I can alter too. I am getting a jump on Christmas! You could even use those baskets to put the punches, stamps, card sets, ribbons etc.. in for a scrap bookers gift.

Has anyone used the punches yet? I had the pumpkin and leaf in my hands but I put them back since I was nervous about how good they were. I did get 2 packs of the letters though, they are really nice.

The punches don't punch through cardstock. I could only get it to go through regular copy paper. Oh well, only $1.

I have been to or called 5 Targets looking for this stuff, and most of it is gone already! I did get some chipboard letters and want to make name frames, but don't have all the letters I need. If you have a name with teo of the ame letter in it, you are out of luck. The chipboard letter packs have 27 pieces, one letter each of the alphabet and an & sign.

Anybody want to trade for letters? Of course, I need the most popular letters, vowels and the letters A, S, M

I went to Target today and got some Felt leaves and flowers, cute brads and rinestone flowers in these little test tube containers, a blank calendar to scrap, patterned paper, punches. That's about it...I only went for one thing and ended up with an arm load. I also got the last 2 of the celery letters they were all that was left.

I went to three Targets the day after the first post...they did not have any of the great finds. I am disappointed not to get the chipboard letters and wanted to see the ribbons and autumn things. Do you all go almost every day or is there a time when they schedule new items to the Dollar
Spot. Thanks for the heads up!

I have returned from date night VICTORIOUS!! LOL I managed to get him in there and I got three each of the four chipboard alphabets they had. They had a few punches, but since one of the other posts said they didn't punch cardstock, I figured I pass on them. They had some gel pens and such but nothing else that the other posts have mentioned. There was guy there unpacking some smaller boxes and stocking the shelves. I was straining my eyes trying to see through them...LOL ...maybe the new goodies are in that box, maybe that one...LOL Come on pal, can't you unpack any FASTER? LOL
Oh geez! Just dump it all in my cart! ROFL

Was at my target didn't have a thing:{. I did find that they had some clear Halloween stamps and some $2.00 clear stamps from Autum leaves. Very cute so I got those. The $1.00 section was pretty empty, hoping stuff is there this weekend.

I purchased one of the punches - the corner one - and was going to go back & get the leaf. Then I tried it at home and it would only punch paper - NOT cardstock - so I took it back. I guess for $1.00 that's what you get.

OK. I went to Target last night thinking I would look for the chipboard and ribbon. I actually came back with $60 worth of stuff. I always stop by the craft/scrapbook department and look for their clearance items. I saw a 75% off and started to browse around. Suddenly I see a sizzix alphabet set for $27. I was like WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When did Target start selling Sizzix? They also had single sizzlets for $1.24 and I even found an extended cut for $4.24. I got paper, 10 count cards with envelopes for .98. I couldn't believe it. It was too good to be true. I did end up buying ribbon, chipboard and cute eyelets from the dollar spot. The funny thing about all this is that I got home and since my hubby wasn't home yet I put everything away before he got home

I found my Alpha Sizzix in the clearance section at Michaels this morning for $13.40 and the retail value on it was $150.00..didnt really need it though but bought it anyways..I do the same thing when I shop...put everything away and he's got no clue how much I spent on my habit..Unfortunately my Target doesnt have good stuff like that, not even a decent $1 spot. No good clearance either.

Yep, I do that as well, I buy things thinking if I really need them. I already have 3 Alpha Sets I bought on clearance.

My great dilema, should I go to the Target that I know they were just filling the bins at yesterday? Or do I risk it and try another Target, since I was just at the other one yesterday and scoped out their clearance. My excuse today is I need milk. What a quandry!

Mine even had little tiny letter stamps - like the size of SU!'s Rough Edges Alpha set. 26 letters for $1 ... SOLD!
