What are some ways to adhere the diamonds glitter?

It depends on the size of the area I'm trying to cover. I've used a 2 way glue pen, fine tip glue pen and heat n stick EP. All three methods have worked for me. HTH

And if you go to youtube and search on "dazzling diamonds," a bunch of of how-to videos will pop up - or you can google it for those videos. Enjoy!

I have used some of the above and Crystal Effects (SU, and it's retired :( ). This is for a larger area and I've brushed the Crystal Effects on the area then add the Dazzling Diamonds.

And just recently I have used wet texture paste (I was adding "snow" with the paste and added the glitter when it was wet).
