I generally don't like a lot of glitter, but I have used it with 2-way glue and sprinkled it on flowers. I think it looks nice with the big flower from 'Doodle This'. I also use it with snow and snowmen, as someone else has already mentioned. Have fun with it!

Ok - dumb question of the day ... what is CE?? Is it the same as versamark?

Anyways it would be perfect for what I want to do. I want to make a glittery tree for Christmas cards.

Try incorporating a line of sticky strip into your design and sprinkling dazzling diamonds on top. Tap gently and shake off the excess. Here's one:

I love just using two way glue and adding to to highlight my image like this:

One more idea - make a row of tiny dots on your card and put glitter on them. Hope this helps!

Ok thanks everyone! I think for the stamp I have the Crystal Effects will be my best option for now. I don't have any but I've been debating ordering some. I will let you all see how my card turns out whenever I finish it.

My **** retentive disorder got the better of me. I tried 3 different things. One silver embossed which shows up nicely. One irridescent ice emboss which the scan doesn't do justice. The 3rd I just used a sparkle fabric paint and let it dry overnight and I think I like that one best. I actually did another like that and put dazzling diamond on top, but it's not quite as nice as #3. The scan still shows the silver emboss the nicest.

Here's my gallery showing the cards.

Default How?

How do you get the flakes and snowmen so sparkly? I just did some penguin cards with snowflakes on white cardstock and used dazzling diamonds as well and they didn't come out nearly as sparkly as yours. I tried using it with just glue as well as with the heat and stick and they flakes just blend right into the cardstock - any hints, please?!?!?

I recently got a quickie glue pen from www.allthatscraps.com -and they have free shipping over $10- and it's so great, glue with a ball point pen control! You can also get it at Michaels.
Here's a card where I traced the embossed image on the circle in the upper left corner and then sprinkled with DD. Brrrrr...Happy Winter! by JenMarie at Splitcoaststampers
I've also traced words.
HTH!!

You can use Dazzling Diamonds glitter on just about anything to pump up a project and make it even more of a WOW! You can use a Two Way Glue Pen or Crystal Effects on an image - I like to add a touch as an outline on flowers, hats, snowmen, snow, trees, a little girl's dress, etc. You could add it to anything to make something sparkle and shine. It really adds so much to a project.

I also stamp with VersamMark and add heat & stick powder, heat that up until it melts and then apply the Dazzling Diamonds and heat it up slightly again to make the glitter stick that way. This looks especially nice on 2-step stamping - stamp the first layer in ink and then do the second part of the stamp this way. It adds great character to a project.
