I too have made Faux chipboard from ANY type of box (granola bars, cereal) or the packaging from embellistments; I use mono-multi to adhere patterned paper then put it thru the cuttlebug; no waiting for it to dry; I have the slider dies and love them; I don't feel they need to be as thick as real chipboard to serve the purpose! I think they're a nice thickness with the light-weight cardboard and patterned paper or cardstock; my advice is to crank the handle slowly; it if offers too much resisitance, stop! A little resistance is fine and expected.
