Olivia for the smaller font ...works great for cards and scrapbooking. The Red Tag Sale is one of the larger fonts and has multiple sizes of each letter and I like the numbers too. I like it because it's more versatile for both cards and scrapbooking.
I have three that I recently bought. I got Olivia, Hippie Chick, and Red Tag Sale. I have been using Olivia the past few days to do some scrapbook pages and some Valentine's cards. I really like it! It looks so polished. I feel like the CB has really added something special to my craft. Look here on the B/S/T board or on Ebay for much better prices than the craft stores. Alphabets, whether they are rubber stamps or CB tools, are like chips - you won't be able to settle for just one! ;)
My first CB alpha was Olivia which is a lovely font and as someone else mentioned - there are great extras!
I have just purchased Red Tag Sale after months of indecision and umming and aaahing. I don't do scrapbooking and I thought it might be too big for cards. Recently I noticed that I am drawn to cards in magazines that feature chipboard words on them. I'm not keen on buying blank chipboard alphabets as I don't use all the letters - I usually run out of vowels early on - and it can be a pain to cover them with patterned paper.
Then I thought the Red Tag Sale would be ideal as the letters are fairly chunky. Now I can cut my letters from chipboard and patterned paper - covering them is easy peasy!
The Olivia for sure a nice one and I also have the Fancy Pants. I like the fact that I get a positive and negative. The positive will give you a nice curvy kind of letter and the negative will be a tag. Love the versatility? I have used the positives on cards and altered items. The negatives I have only used on Clipboards and Journals but they are real nice and add lots of umph

Just a hint: use Mono Multi or other good paper glue to adhere your patterned paper to your chipboard *before* you cut it in the Bug. You'll save yourself a step, and your letter will have a nice, finished edge to it. :-)
Thanks for all your advise I will probably be getting Olivia and Red Tag. I received a gift card to Joanns so I thought I would buy a Cuttlebug alphabet.
Any one else have their favorite?

Just not enough time in the day to do everything that I love to do
Well I tried tonight to exchange my 5-$20 Joann's gift cards to a $100 gift card so that I could order my alphabet sets online and they told me whoever said I could do that was wrong :( But she did offer to call around and see if she could find them at another store and have them transfered to my store and she was able to do so! She found red tag and olivia. So now once they come in I will be able to use my 40% coupon (I hope) and my gift cards. I hope they come soon

May I ask, how do you just cut the letters you want. I have been trying to decide on a CB font also, but keep thinking how do I not cut the whole die plate?? Sorryif this is a stupid question..

You could just cut small pieces (the size to cover the letter) and secure the the CS with a tiny bit of tape to make it stay in place.
I personally just cut a strip as wide and long as the die and save the letters I don't use. They have all been coming in handy so far, when I needed just two or three for initials on altered items and such.

Oh, there is never a stupid question;)

Great idea!!
I have the Olivia alpha, and I really like it. Its pretty diverse.
I wish Provocraft would come out with some new alpha choices.
Thanks for this great tip. I never think of these things until I am nudged here on SCS
