Arrow cuttlebug ?????

I just saw a wedding card I love in the gallery, and they used a cuttlebug embossing folder. It looks like the embossed parts are shiny?? I am wondering how that is done. Also, does anyone know the name of the embossing folder?

It is called "wedding card using Happy Harmony" posted by redheaded witch. Sorry, it won't let me link to it.

Sorry, I am really new to this. Also, I don't have a cuttlebug, but am now thinking I shoud get one. I have the sizzix sidecut. I don't use it a lot. Does anyone like the cuttlebug a lot better than sizzix?? I am not sure if you can get embossing folders for sizzix or not.

TIA for any answers or help anyone can give me.

The Cuttlebug embossing folder is called Textiles. I'm not sure how she got it to shine. Maybe the Versamark and chalking comes out kind of shiny. I just got a Cuttlebug and it is far superior to Sizzix and you can use all the Sizzix dies in it. I have a Sizzix machine and a Sidekick and a ZipeMate. I just use the Cuttlebug now. The embossing folders are wonderful!

I don't know about the sidekick...but you can use the cuttlebug embossing folders with a regular sizzix using the adaptor (that you'd normally use to use the thin die cuts).

I have seen cards where they have brushed the raised part of the embossing on the versamark pad and then used Pearl Ex. I have run the shimmery white paper through the cuttlebug for a wedding card and that works great, too.
