Default Crop-o-dile vs. Crop-o-dile Big Bite

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the Crop-o-dile and the Crop-o-dile Big Bite? I used one of them at a friends house and loved it. I asked my hubby to buy me one for my birthday, but I don't know which one to tell him.

Thanks!

Big bite: https://weronthenet.com/productsx/pr...?page=cad2.htm

It's a table top punch/eyelet/snap setter that has a 6" reach.

Cropadile regular is hand held punch/eyelet/snap setter with about a 1 1/2" reach: https://www.shopwer.com/Itemdesc.asp?ic=70907-7&eq=&Tp=

Thanks! Which one do you recommend for someone who doesn't scrapbook? I would use it mostly for card making and other papercrafting gifts.

I just bought the Crop-o-dile a couple weeks ago. I love it! I use it on my cards.

The best way for you to decide is to think about how far you are going to want to be able to reach with the tool and make your decision based upon that fact. That would be my best suggestion for you!

I suggest the little one if you would like to use it all the time and you mainly do cards.

I have both, and have only used the Big Bite once in 4 months of cardmaking, it's just big and not as handy as the little one.

Just my opinion...if I only had one, it would be the little one.

Is the big one worth it?

I LOVE the big one...but then again i have both. I am letting my daughter use the small one. I think the big one has more bite-through the thick stuff-and I have a little "aurtheritis" so I like the way the big one sits on the table.

I have both too! I do scrapbooking as well as cardmaking. With the Big Bite you can really punch holes anywhere! It's really nice. But if you only use it for cardmaking and don't ever have to go further than about an inch from the edge of the paper just get the regular crop-a-dial, since it's cheaper. It's such a great tool - and quiet if you are a late night cropper like I am!
