I like my Sizzix. It's easy on my hands and there's lots of dies to pick from. If you have children, they'll love the Sizzix and can't hurt it.

My vote is Sizzix &/or little Sizzix sidekick

By adding an optional adapter, the Sidekick is also compatible with other brands' wafer-thin dies. (available this spring)

Take a look at what each brand you are considering offers & choose the 'style' you prefer.

They all have so many great die cuts!

You can only use the skinny dies in the Sidekick--you can do both on the big Sizzix--just to let you know

My vote is for sizzix as well. I have the large sizzix and the sizzix sidekick. They both are great and easy on the wallet investments.

Zipemate all the way! You can use any die from any company with it. I had a Sizzix and got the Zipemate when it came out a few months ago. I gave away the Sizzix machine but kept all the dies!

My vote is for the ZipEmate. I feel it has more versatility of the dies that it will use. You can use the Quikutz and Sizzix dies in it. That is a plus when you have friends that have other die cut systems and you can share. I also prefer the roll action, rather than the press. Although, Sizzix is available with a coupon! I haven't found the ZipEmate in a store with a coupon, yet.
