Hi all! I know this isn't exactly a tool per say, but I was just at a crop and some of the ladies had the most adorable craft aprons and I have to have one! I am looking for something bright and fun (I like a lot of black, white and pink), maybe some ruffles on the bottom.. Anyways... I have been searching on etsy and not really finding what I'm looking for.. if anyone has any links to cute ones, or places that you got yours I'd appreciate it!
I'm pretty sure that I've seen one or two periodically on Peachy Cheap on their boutique site link. Please let us know if you find one! I'm now thinking of acquiring one myself.
I don't have any links but just wanted to say that you are right, aprons have become quite an "in" thing! I've seen some adorable, sassy and classy ones complete with faux pearl necklaces. If you can't find one you like on etsy then try making one yourself (if you have a sewing machine and basic skills). I made a mommy and me set and gotta say I love seeing my little one romp around in it. Choose your favorite fabrics and pick up a pattern or like I did one of those apron books that come with a basic pattern and instructions. have fun!
I am not a fan of wearing an apron while crafting. For me, it's just one more thing to get in the way, bunch up, or bang against the table (if I have stuff in the pockets). My son tells me that I look like a homeless person when I go to crops because, when it's cool, I always wear my comfy (and stained) pink cardigan sweater over and only slightly less ratty shirt. (Can you tell that I dress for comfort, not style? LOL)

I am a HUGE apron fan myself..for my studio and kitchen. I have been looking for some kind of canvas type apron so I can cutomize it for me ( with stamps and ink of course ;))..I however don't want a terribly stiff one..as I am all about how things "feel" and I don't like bulk ( I don't want much do I LOL)...I may just end up ordering one..but if it is too pretty then I wont want to mess it up with my inks( which always seem to get cleaned off on my clothes...)

I'm pretty sure you can get a plain canvas apron at Hobby Lobby, usually in the row with the t-shirts, and canvas totes.
I am a big apron fan too - I wear them for crafting, cleaning and cooking (the three "Cs"!). The really cute aprons are adorable but I haven't found them too practical for crafting, probably because I am really messy. I have had good luck with aprons from Williams-Sonoma. They are heavy duty, provide great coverage and come in lots of different colors.
