Default Corner Chomper

Is there any difference (and if so, what??) between this and the Zutter Round It All?
I apologize if this has been asked before, but I couldn't get the forum search to work, it kept freezing up and locking me out.

Thanks!

well it could be the price.....lol

You but one chomper and it has to corners to cut.

For the same price you get one bind-it-all rounder, then have to buy another one to get the size.

So it cost twice the price and you have 2 tools to lose....

No difference in what it will cut. I have the Chomper and somebody asked the other day about a tool that would round credit card type plastic - I tried it out for her and it worked, no problem at all. Chipboard, cardstock, acetate - all fine!

I've heard people say that the Round-it-All does not do well on thinner stuff (like a single sheet of regular cardstock) but I haven't tried one so can't say from experience.

The Chomper has 1/4" and 1/2" sides to choose from so you have two tools in one. If you have a Crop-a-Dile, the Chomper will seem pretty familiar - same kind of build quality and feel to use, the gearing means you don't have to put an enormous amount of pressure on even to go through thick stuff.

Thanks! I already have a Round-it-all, still in the package ( got it 1/2 price as a hostess award) so I don't think I "need" the corner chomper, but it's good to have that confirmed .... plus, I have small hands and I find the Crop-a-dile a little awkward to use, because it's bigger than my hand span (if that makes sense).
Okay, money saved for some other goodies!

Yep, if your R-I-A makes the size of rounding you like to use and it's comfortable then I'd say you're good to go and the pennies can buy you something else - have fun choosing something!

I will chime in here...I just bought the Chomper ( I think Joanne convinced me I needed it...LOL) and I already have the Pink RIA. I was actually shopping for the Blue RIA because I wanted to do smaller corners as well, but the Chomper was CHEAPER and does both sizes. I find it easier to use with a more secure grip than the RIA too! And it' true...the RIA will not do one sheet of paper crisply...the Chomper does it all!! One sheet, a card, plastic...same as the RIA and then some!

So if you have the RIA and see no use for the other size... then definitely spend your $$ on other things!
