Copics for olivey greens & PTI Aqua
My favorite colors are Old Olive, Kiwi Kiss, Papertrey Spring Moss and River Rock. Sadly, I have never been happy with the various lists of Copic matches for those particularly colors. They aren't bad, but they simply aren't as great a match as all the other copic matches.
So, having amassed an embarassingly large collection of Copics, I spent a chunk of yesterday layering colors to get to a perfect match. Here they are, but REMEMBER, your results will depend on your paper (I use Nenaah Classic Crest Solar White)
Old Olive
Simple match - YG95
Layered match - first YG03, then layer on YG93
Kiwi Kiss
Simple match - YG93
Layered match - first YG93, then layer on Y13
Papertrey Spring Moss
Simple match YG91
Layered match - first YG91, then layer on Y11
River Rock
Simple match YG91
Layered match - first G40, then layer on YG91
Aqua Mist
Simple match BG11
Layered match - first YG11, then layer on BG10
If I'm just doing a little accent color - I pull out the simple color. But if I am doing a large image - I spend the time with the layers!
