Default Color wheel

Those of you who went through SU's last massive colour change, did they have a Color wheel before? I'm thinking that this is one item that will be a bit less useful as time goes by and fewer of the retiring colours will be available. Do you think they will put out a new one for the new colour families?
BTW, you can see that I am internationally mixed up here with the American/Canadian spellings of color/colour...BG

There is a new one too. It is different now. The colors look like paint swatches with tips on the back. I don't have the old one (I did not stamp back then.) I do use the current one, especially since the color site is down.

I think that a color wheel is a color wheel. OK, maybe you can't just pick it up and look it up by color anymore. But if you know 2 colors are close, you can still pull color combo ideas from it.

I recently got the color wheel, and I really like it. It helps me come up with combos I hadn't thought of. I am depressed it won't work now. I am not good at picking what looks nice together. I usually checked with someone else, lol, before I got the wheel!
I heard they aren't getting the same type for the new colors.

I have the color wheel and I really like it. I think the current color wheel will still work -- pick the color (or similar color) you want as one of your colors and see what is suggested. Even now if the wheel shows Green Galore I may use Certainly Celery instead.

The new one will be more like paint swatches on a big brad to fan out. On the back side are color combination suggestions. Looks really neat. It's pictured in the May demo magazine -- ask your demo if you can take a look at it.

Oh, that sounds interesting! I do use my color wheel, but not all the time. I must say that every time I have used it, I have been very pleased with the suggested combinations. Even if at first I was sceptical.

I have the current SU! color wheel and thought it was a waste of $. I do on occasion pick up the wheel to refer to it for combinations, but I do believe that SU! will create a new color wheel once the new color families become effective on July 1.

For those of you who are bummed about the retiring colors, there is a color challenge thread here on SCS that has page upon page of color combinations, many of which I would have never thought of or have seen just looking at the SU! color wheel.
