Question Coasters

Where do you buy the coasters for craft projects? I love many of the ideas and can not find the coasters to complete the projects! Thanks for your time!

If you mean ceramic ones, I get them at Lowes. The chip board ones you can order somewhere, but I work in a restaurant so I get them there!

I purchased my coasters online. I think it was American Coaster Company.
You do have to order in bulk, so you might want to have someone in mind to split the order with. Shipping was almost the same price as the coasters, but they still came out to be around 10 cents a piece. They are a lot of fun to work with and the possibilities are endless.

Chipboard coasters can be purchased at Clear Dollar. You can buy 10 at a time or more depending on your needs.

I've purchased many of my coasters from this ebay seller:

super fast shipping and excellent value.

I got mine from All That Scraps online. They are cheap and have free shipping on orders of $25 or more...they have everything and are good with their stock.

I found packages of eight round coasters in the Michael's $1 spot last week.

I've got tons of thin restaurants ones. If you'd like you can have those. You would have to cover them with the modge podge. Let me know.

I bought the medium weight coasters from www.stamponthis.com.
I also bought the small calendars there to do the fridge magnets with them.

Hope this helps-

Kim

You might try buying matboard at Hobby Lobby, then use a quilting rotary cutter to make them any size you need. I borrowed my DH metal t-square to make straight cuts.

I checked other stores, and HL has the best price. I buy 20x15 matboard for less than $4, and each makes fifteen 4-inch coasters.

You can buy matboard in different colors, too!
