Default Clip It Up clips

Does anyone know where I can find clips similar to these so I can make my own version of the clip it up? I just don't want to spend that much for the ones on her website if I can find them cheaper. Thanks alot

Thumbs up

Sarah that such a cool thing. I think I am going to see if I can make one of those. Or ask my dh if he thinks he can.

I would use it for my Peg board. So I'm wondering I just took a Curtain rod that expands, and then add, Alliagator clips to the curtain rod some how if it would work.

Thanks for sharing your friends blog idea

Ladies, I have purchased those kinds of clips to hang curtains from Linens & Things as well as Bed Bath & Beyond. They come in a number of sizes and finishes. Lowes and Home Depot may have them in their window/curtain section as well. I think Ikea has something similar too. I want to hang a wire across my wall to hang cards from using this same type of clip. HTH

That was what I was thinking too when I first saw the price on them.

You might try looking at a hardware store like Home Depot, Menards, or some where like that.

I'm going to start looking to see if I can find some too.

I looked at ACE yesterday and couldn't find them. but I will go back because then I don't have to go to the city where all the big stores are and try to find them. Thanks

I bought my clips at joann's. I have also seen them at Target and Walmart. I also saw where someone used badge holders...you can get these real cheap in the office supplies at most stores.

Anywhere that sells the Clip It Up should also sell additional clips...my LSS does.

I purchased a bag of clips from IKEA and use a small curtain rod, attached to the side of large shelves. It works really well and also great for hanging lengths of ribbon.

Here's another homemade version...this one looks like "the" original Clipit. Obviously it must have been much less expensive, lol. She has a complete materials list as well.

Oh, and make sure to check out how she "blinged up" her ATG dispenser! It's a work of art, lol! And further down the page are some pics of her stamp/scrap space organization.

And she even has a dog, too...

I made one of these like the one pictured on the digital blackroom blog. I bought clips for it from both Michael's and Joann's and the ones from Mike's are the ones you need. I don't exactly know how to say what the difference is, but the ones from Joann's don't let your items hang in the right direction, the ones at Mike's do. You can find them in the jewelry section at Mike's. They're called something like badge holders or badge clips.

HTH,

* I like the idea of the curtain rod on the wall. (mugsyboo blog)
* The one on the desk would take too much flat space. (digital blackroom)
