Can anyone recommend a great clear embossing powder in bulk (bigger amount than a little pot)? I've seen a lot of pics where people have a lot of it in a gladware container and use a spoon. Seems like a great method! However, currently I use SU powder and that could be a little pricey to get enough to use like that. Also, not having used anything else, I am wondering if there is a better EP out there that I am missing out on.
Card Shark....I prefer the embossing powders by Ranger. They are a larger jar than the Stampin' Up ones. I also prefer the quality of the Ranger products better. You can purchase them at AC Moore stores with a coupon, though they are not really expensive....just under $5 each. I believe that Michaels also carries some colors, too.
I feel it's a bit deceiving on the videos you watch. I think these people are putting several containers of embossing powder in the plastic containers to use, not just one.
I found and purchased a 4 oz container (vs the usual 0.5-1 oz) of clear embossing powder at Joann's. It was 9.99, but of course there are always sales and coupons! The brand is A La Mode made by Hampton Art. Works fine for me! I removed the whole lid and emptied it into another container, and I love the ease of it. I use clear embossing powder a bunch, so this 4 oz container will last forever.

Do you like this powder? I saw it at Joann's, but didn't have a coupon at the time, so I decided to wait to make my purchase when I did have a coupon. I am wondering if it is a good product. Thanks for your insight.

Years back, I shared a purchase of clear embossing powder with a few friends and I am still using the purchase. It was bought in pounds. Sounds crazy, I know, but it is much cheaper this way. The embossing powder that the printing industry uses is the same as the one we use. I bought from them-o-boss I think. They supply embossing powder by the pound and the super fine detailed powder is really good.
I bought Transcendence clear embossing powder from Smartworks -- www.smartrubber.com. It's a nice big container, and the best part is that it can be used with dye ink as well as pigment ink. It's also a great company to deal with.
