Default Binding Machine

Hi! I'm looking to bind some cookbooks I've made. They're about 30-35 pages long & 81/2x11. Is there any machine I can used? Thanks!

I bought a full sized coil ring binder on Kijiji (you could look on Craigslist or the likes too) for next to nothing. You also might get lucky at Salvation Army or Value Village. Just do a Google search for "coil ring binders" to see what they look like.

Another option is a Bind-It-All which is smaller. I bought one on the BST forum here. The disadvantage to this is that it's smaller and you have more holes to try to line up when punching.

HTH,
Barbara

The Bind-it-All. I used to get my SU and TAC catalogs bound on a spiral coil at Office Depot until I got my Bind-it-All. Can't remember how much they charged.

I use a Bind-it-All. I think I paid $79 with free shipping. It's small so you have to move your pages but it's easy to use.

I have both the bind-it-all and a rollibind system, and I like the rollibind much better!

You could just bring it someplace and have them bound, if you don't think you'll be doing many albums. I'm sorry I bought the Bind-it all. It works okay, I just always seem to go to the Rollibind! I like the look and it's easier to use.

I have a bind-it-all and am interested in how you did your SU catalog in regards to taking it apart to bind it. Not sure this makes sense, but I know what I mean. LOL

I cut the cover and back off at the fold; that left the strip down the side. Then I just peeled the pages off a few at a time. I ended up trimming just a sliver off of the covers and pages to have a smooth edge before I bound them.

Thanks Doxiegal, I'm going to try it. Was just hoping there might be an easier way I hadn't thought of.;)
