So i have now had my Bind It All for over a year now and I think I have used it once. I really don't wanna get rid of it but I am looking for some some great projects to do with it to justify keeping it.
Come on ladies I know if anyone can help me find a reason to keep it you all will.
I just bought one from a gal on here, and I can not wait to get started!! What I did already was do a search on the gallery for "bind it all" and there were a ton of ideas.. hope that helps, when you use it, make sure to post so we can all see what ya made
go to the zutter sisters site - oodles and oodles of ideas there!
I have made recipe books, autograph books (for end of year school etc), post-it note binders, a Christmas countdown calendar, calendars.....lots of ideas kicking around in my head.
Do you have Spellbinders dies? I made a GREAT book to organize my dies in! I adhered magnetic pages to chipboard, used the Zutter to bind the book and now I can carry hundreds of dies in the book without them getting mixed up. I've got up to 6 sets of nestabilities on each page. I wouldn't put more than 10 pages in a book, it gets heavy. I've had mine a year and it's held up wonderfully!

Kim are you a mind reader, or what! I am trying to find a way to store my nestabilities because the packaging they came in doesn't work and the cd cases have the little button in the middle and doesn't work well with some nesties. This is such a cool idea! I don't have a BIA or Zutter. One question, don't they bump off easily? I thought about putting them in page protectors but that can be a pain getting them in and out.

I haven't had problems with them falling out of the book. I do have pretty thick chipboard (that is important) and a strong magnet. The magnets I used are from Lowes, Home Depot or Menards. You can find them along side heat register covers, they are called "Magnetic Vent Covers" and are made by "Best Air", I'm sure there are other brands too. Ask someone at the store where they are, sometimes they have them on end caps or hanging somewhere. The pack has three 8 x 15 sheets in it. My pages are 8 x 10. I piece the left over 5 inches I cut off to get another page.
With the CD cases as I've stored mine you take out that button type sleeve, you click it off the casing.
I do love the idea of the BIA for the storage.
I think we are using different CD cases. The center button on mine doesn't pop off. I am using a thin case, not sure where I got it. I think I am heading to Lowe's for those magnetic vent covers Kim mentioned.

I also made a 'book' for all my craft cds - alternated cd sleeves with cardstock. It has held up really well - thinking about making a book for my slice cards and nesties as well....
These are great ideas! I, too, bought a BIA last year and have only used it once. :(
I like the idea of autograph books for school. I think I might make some of those for my nieces. And maybe books to keep track of birthdays/anniversaries so I can always have one handy who I need to make a card for.
I'm having a blast with mine! I've been making mini albums and right now, I'm making recipe books. I've posted some videos, they're my first ones with instructions!
I think my next project will be something for my cuttlebug embossing folders. Thanks for all the great ideas!
I made shopping/coupon books for my family. Each contains some paper for making lists and four pocket folders to store coupons in. I love mine and use it all the time (mostly for Joanns, Michaels, etc.).
I actually won a Bind it All at a crop I went to -- it was one of the door prizes. I was thrilled to get it because I knew I wouldn't buy it for myself - even though it looks so fun to play with. I haven't used it yet but I plan to make a journal for my teenaged daughter for Christmas. I'm going to cover the front cover of the book with pictures of her and call it her "facebook"...
