Wal-mart cs and promarkers

Does anyone know if wal-mart card stock is okay with promarkers? I have hear Gina K card stock recommended but I was wondering if wal-mart card stock was okay as it is cheaper.

Dyanna.....I can't say that I've tried it since I don't use Copics, but I see no reason not to try the Walmart cardstock. It's certainly less expensive than the GinaK brand and there's no shipping cost involved.

Try to get the heaviest weight available.

You never know until you try the cardstock. What you believe to be the best may not be for someone else. The great thing about GP is that you can use it for other stuff if you do not like it. I personally like smoother cardstock and GP is not smooth enough for me. I think that you will make more of an effort to blend your colors together because it is not so smooth. Try a Hobby store and look for marker paper... Or Xpress it that Copic suggests.

Thank you for the replies. I'm planning on getting some promarkers in late Feb. I don't have any yet but I'm really looking forward to trying them.

If you're talking about the Wausau 65lb cardstock (that's what they have at the Walmart where I live), then it will work with promarkers. I use it once in a while with my copics. You will find that the ink will really travel so, you will need a lighter hand with it, especially your red based inks.
