I need to replenish my mono multi and I need a lot, so I'm shopping for a good price. Someone posted a place on line, and I can't find it or remember where it was.
Still wish it came in a larger size, it seems to run out so quickly in that little bottle!
I get mine from Penwa, too. Usually buy 10 bottles at a time. And yes, the small bottles run out pretty quickly, but they are easy to handle when you are doing intricate glue jobs. That's how I mostly use mine, and use my ATG for everything else.

I actually like it when it's almost gone. I take the plastic nob thing out and dab it on, it comes out easily. Love that stuff so much I have to use every drop.

I'll have to try that with the "almost empty" bottles currently upside down in my tupperware container. I have to use every drop too!
Thanks for the price info - I like the smaller bottles because then I know I'll use it up. I actually cut my bottle in half with heavy scissors and scoop out the insides with a q-tip when I can't get anymore out from either tip.
I've tried Elmer's Craft Bond which I truly dislike.
I'm trying the Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue which I like (so far) but I want the upside down bottle if I order more.
Tombow Mono Multi is in my opinion the best glue for paper crafting.
it holds really, really well while still allowing a bit of movement when you first apply it.
Best glue for any punch art, paper piecing and small embellishments.
I agree with Alex. The best thing that you don't need a lot of glue for maximum hold. I teach classes and the hardest thing to get student to understand that you don't need to saturate your paper. I apply thin lines or small dots and it holds forever. I also like that it doesn't buckle the paper unless you use a heavy hand when applying it. I use it for paper & embellishments.

Thanks!
Your observations are helpful because the main reason I disliked the Craft Bond was the way it saturated the paper even after I thinned it over the surface for even coverage.
Last night I glued DSP to chipboard. The Craft Bond looked smooth but dried with "peaks and valleys" plus warped the chipboard as it dried. Hours later I needed to iron them to dry it & flatten the boards.
I had NO warping with the Clear Gel and no "peaks and valleys". I finally found this on the shelf in Joann's so I guess I will definitely try it.

Hi Bugga in OK.....first of all thanks for all the tips and tricks you provide in the forums.....they are very much appreciated.
Second of all.....when you buy 10 monomultis at a time are they not in danger of drying out?
Thanks again,
Jo

Thanks for the kind words. I love this forum and always try to give back.
The bottles don't dry out. I've had my big supply for a couple of years. In fact, when I ordered so many, I didn't have my ATG gun, and was using the Mono to apply all my card layers, so I was going through it pretty quick! The bottles are sealed very well, and every one I've opened has been fine.
