I bought my atg gun at framing supplies and they have good prices on the refills, but when you add in shipping it gets pricey. I was wondering if there are any other good places to get the refills--I'm looking right now for the gold small roll I think its the 1/4 size. Thanks!
A few online scrapbook stores sells them now. If I find the link I'll send it to you. Some have shipping sales too so if you have a load of stuff to buy.
I went and looked on framingsupplies.com. Although the prices aren't horrible when you add in the shipping it gets really expensive. Now I don't need tons and tons at a time. I put in that I wanted 2 1/4" and one 1/2 " and the shipping was half of the subtotal! That's just too much. Anyone got a place that has free or cheap shipping and a good price on the ATG refills? I need mine pretty quick as I have a weekend crop next weekend and no tape to go with.

There is some on amazon, but the least expensive is not 3M brand, so I don't know if it is as good.
This is the only one I use. It is just as good as the 3m tape and is better in my opinion, because each roll comes enclosed in cellophane wrapper. It is cheaper to buy from find tape through amazon (I think the shipping is cheaper) than to buy from findtape.com. Odd, I think.
I need to order also, they must think we are companies using these products.
I purchased my ATG gun and tape from A-Pak manufacturing and shipping was $8. with the gun; however, they no longer have the 1/4" tape so now
I'm looking also

I looked at the one on Amazon. It didn't say acid free (that I could see) on the ad so I was very wary. It really doesn't matter for my cards but for my scrapbooks it matters.
Here is what Amazon ad says:
JVCC ATG-7502 ATG Tape is a permanent unsupported acrylic adhesive transfer film (pressure-sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner). It is used for picture framing, product assembly, and for design and packaging prototypes. Has good adhesion to paper, most plastic films, and metal foils. Glass stabilized solvent-based acrylic adhesive. On a 50# gold paper liner. Mounted on cores designed especially for use in tape dispensers (tape dispensing system allows for quick, clean, and easy application). JVCC ATG-7502 ATG Tape, like all ATG tapes, is reverse wound on the roll so it is designed to be used in an ATG dispenser/gun (the 1/4" width fits in the 3M 714 Applicator/Dispenser and the 1/2" width fits in either the JVCC ATG1 or 3M 700 Applicator/Dispenser).
