Default What Would YOU like to see in future SU catalogs?

..if you had the power?

I'd love to see more military themed sets. A lot of stampers are military spouses or parents or who have friends and loved ones stationed overseas and would love to be able to use such sets. I had Godspeed but had to sell it (long after it had been retired of course) during a particularly lean time. I was fortunate to get a good price for it ($50) but the set stills sells for around that on ebay, and now I wish I had it.

I'd also like to see another set like Snowglobe reintroduced.

I am excited about the rhinestone brads I hear SU is introudcing in the new catalog.

Anyone else's thoughts? Just curious.

Have a great weekend and happy stamping!!

I was just talking about this with my friend yesturday. I would love to see more individual ribbon spool options. (decorative ribbon) Definately more embellishments. There should be themed sets designed around vacations or sightseeing within specific states/countries.

Does anyone know of any stamp sets that are made for states?

I don't know of any - just some Jolee's embellishments based on big cities (Boston, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, DC, etc.) in those states. Would be a good market to tap if anyone out there had the money, resources and time...

I would love to see their whole Christmas section overhauled. I think a lot of the stuff now is pretty outdated in that department!

And being the dog lover I am, would love to see another doggy set or two!

I would like to see copper ribbon, I've been looking for it for years. I also would like to see punch storage item, dimensionals that sit a little higher, always provide markers and ink pads to match papers; even those that are in the mini catalog and are intended to be a short time item.

Unmounted stamps. As much as I love SU stamps, I have bought many, many less these last 2 years than ever before. Companies like PaperTrey, Rubber Romance, and others are filling my needs at much less expense.

I would love to see more of the "vintage" looking sets. Like Coast to Coast, Yuletide Montage, Changing seasons, etc. For some reason I really love those sets.

I love SU designs, so if they need to remain mounted, I will still buy them. The only time I have bought unmounted is if I love the design.

I was kinda shocked at how much is retiring this time - I certainly hope there are lots of new goodies in the new catty to fill their place...

I'd like a good cat set. I haven't cared for anything since Meow Meow. Something cute like the Fluffles stamps.

I'd also like to see a good owl set. Can't you see the cute phrases that could go with it? "Who gives a hoot", etc.?

Ok, cheesy, I know... but I like it, and it's no worse than those "Words by Wilson" and similar tacky sets!

How about some humor!! Hambo stamps and River city rubber works has THE most humorous phrases to stamp! Don't you just love reading the funny cards in stores!! Everybody likes to laugh at cards. They are definately lacking in humor in my opinion.

Try this site - http://www.scrapyourtrip.com/index.html I haven't ordered from it, but a friend who has suggested it. It has some cool stuff! Sorry for the hijack!

I'd also like to see more embellishments and have the ability to buy them in multi-color packs or single color packs (especially eyelets and brads). I'd also like to see the return of chalk inks.

Good point! The last ones they had (Bon Voyage and Words by Wilson) are retiring and weren't that funny. I love Hambo's sayings. Some of those are laugh out loud funny.

I'd also like to see some liquor/wine/beer stamps, but I doubt they'll make those.

I seem to have such a hard time using my alpha sets in scrapbooking, and I just can't get the stamp majig down either. I'd love something like snap stamps to make titles with.

It would be cool to see the Hodgepodge Hardware sold separately/individually. I haven't purchased any yet because I wonder if I would have a lot of some of the shapes left over.

I'd like to see sentiments that I can use inside my cards. I've been purchasing Innie & Outie stamps from My Sentiments Exactly, and Penny Black has some that can be used this way. I like the fact that the fonts match and that the whole theme of the card goes together this way.

I think they are Mormons. Mormons do not use alcohol, so I think it would be somewhat lacking integrity for them to produce "boozing" things.

I would like to see anything with accordions. These images are impossible to find. My mom repairs accordions for a living now that she is retired from teaching school. I have been looking all over the place for the past 3 years and have only found 6, and 3 of those are not very good pictures. I would also like to see eye loop / lacing brads.

I'd like to see SU offer the choice of mounted or unmounted stamps, with unmounted being less expensive. I'd also like to see matching markers and craft ink for the 6 new colors coming with each new catalog. As far as stamps go, I'd like to see more Christian-themed sets, especially for Easter and Christmas, more masculine stamps, and more realistic designs rather than the hand-drawn, cutesy look.

I would like to see Cool Caribbean paper, ink, etc. in the new catty. What a surprise that would be!

Also, I'd like to see BIG scalloped punches, dry embossing templates that could work with cuttlebug, thicker whisper white cardstock, contemporary wedding and anniversary stamp sets, and more guy stamp sets. It's fun to dream and wish. I can't wait!!!

I'll "third" you on that one! Those sets are whimsical, yet sophisticated. I would love to see a set like that with animals, something like Jan Brett's illustrations.

I would also like to see more phrases for the inside that are funny! I would love, love, love to see cool carribean make it in. I'm a teacher and I'll be teaching summer school to pay for my June order so I can stock up before it goes away. Have Wild Wild West and would like more like this. Gotta love a cowboy!

I'd like to see mini brads in more colors. I am always reaching for my mini brads and never have the color I "need".

I would like to see some new sets of Boy Scout and Girl Scout Stamps. I didn't buy the Girl Scout set when it was retiring because my demonstator at the time said she thought they would be replacing it because it was one of her most popular. They didn't. I was a Girl Scout Leader and have tons of pictures and now I have a son that will be joining scouts next year and several nephews one of who is going for his Eagle Scout Badge and I tried to purchase one on Ebay for my sister-in-law and they are going for $50 or $60 There is too much other stuff I want to pay that much.

I would also like to see the Hodgepodge Hardware sold individually. I use certian peices more than others.

Cool carribbean (my fave) with markers and everything would be great too!

I'd love to see quilt-related stamps, more masculine stamps, and stamps for retirement and promotions.

I would like to see more military sets, more masculine sets (maybe a good fishing set), more Christian Christmas and Easter sets, scallop punches would be really great, a really good doggie set, I also wish the In Colors would have the markers to match. One more thing (maybe..lol)...I think it would be awesome if they had Cuttlebug embossing folders to match some of the stamp sets...I'm sure that will never happen though.

I'd like to see a nice cat set, too. I bought Meow Meow a few months back 'cause I'm new to stamping and su and that set was long gone by the time I got to buying sets.

I'd like to see some nice flourishes sets akin to the Autumn leaves ones I've been seeing. For some reason Carte Postale didn't do it for me.

I'd like to see some "serious" cow and farm stamps. Not silly cows with ice packs on their heads and a themometer under their tail (well, actually I do think it's in the mouth, but you get what I mean).

Ditto on fairy stamps.

Some nice little girl stamps akin to En Pointe, too- on the "serious" side. Elegant and pretty.

Can I put a vote in for LESS cartoon-ish flower stamps? We have enough of those, right?

Markers with the "in color" shades would be cool too...
