Default Score Tape questions

I would like to order some Score Tape but have no idea of what widths to purchase. I have used the red tape and only used the thin one. Which sizes do you recommend? Also, how much do you usually order at a time?

I usually order 2 rolls each of 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 inch widths. That will last me about 6 months.

I tend to be very frugal and get by with as little of something as I can and still make it work - if that makes any sense.

The 1/8" is just too narrow to work for card bases and putting boxes together, although it is the least expensive.

So I use the 1/4" tape which works well for me, and only costs a little more for the same amount than the 1/8".

For most of the things I make, I don't think the more expensive 1/2" would be necessary.

I have several different widths, but I almost always use the 1/4 inch. And a roll will do a whole lot of projects!

I use the 1/4 inch most of the time. The 1/2 inch is good for larger items, like when you are covering a book w/papers and if you are doing a larger box. I have the 1/8 inch but rarely if ever use it. So if you buy a couple of rolls of 1/4 inch I think you will do ok. It is a good sized roll and lasts quite a while around my house

I do have a roll of the 1/8 and don't use it too much. But sometimes its just "perfect". I have the old style Bind It All and couldn't fit covered chipboard in it - and the 1/8 was perfect for adhering the paper to the edge by the holes...so it has its "use" - but I don't use it much.

I use the 1/4 ALOT!!! The 1/2 inch is nice for big areas but if I only had to get 1 - I would suggest the 1/4 inch.

1/8th is great under ribbon so it stays put
1/4" is the perfect all around size
1/2" is great for boxes, bags, and larger projects.

I use the 1/4 and the 1/2 about equally. Love the stuff!
