Default another one bites the dust!

Well, just discovered my SU Watermelon Wonder pad looks crusty/bad. Not even going to try to re ink it. I am wondering about Catherine Pooler ink pads. I think they are foam, but may be better somehow. To those that have the C.P. pads- are you noticing any issues? Would love to hear about these.

I absolutely love my CP ink pads and bought my fave colors so I have about 20 with the reinkers. I have had no problems at all and they are my fave ink pads of all!! They are juicy and you can also watercolor with them too. I stamp my ink on a block and then add a little water and voila! They are awesome! I am a fan!

Thanks so much cheermom! Did you buy the reinkers at the same time? Do they dry out as fast as SU's seem too?

I actually bought them when they had a sale and were cheaper and after I made sure I loved them. These ink pads do not dry out as fast as SU does IMO. I literally only own 2 kinds of ink pads. The Catherine Pooler inks and the Oxides and that's all I need .

Wonder what is in the color formulas that is doing this to ink pads that have red in them? It happened to my Stampin' Up original real red pad and to a Color Box reddish color too, so it might not be brand specific.

I saw this on instagram today. It reminded me that the pads are very thick and juicy and you do not want to press down hard at all. Just lightly tap when stamping on ink pad. Hope you can see this ok.

Thank you Sherri! I could see it and read it okay. I am not on instagram so thanks for sharing that. Much appreciated. Just trying to decide which colors now.

I wonder what the problem is as well. I've only had problems with the SU red inks though. My Real Red is still okay, but Cherry Cobbler, Riding Hood Red, Watermelon Wonder, and Rose Red all grew weird crystals and mold.
