it depends on what it is, but for the most part I use a 1/4" atg gun ( double sided tape type dispenser adhesive)Robot Check
and glue dots, micro and mini for lumpy things.

Robot Check

I do have a liquid pen that I use on teeny tiny diecuts.

Robot Check

these may be cheaper in stores near you with sales and coupons, I just added the links so you could see the photos of what the packaging looks like.

I use double sided scotch tape, glue dots and a glue pen but mostly now I use Nuvo glue........I've pretty much given up on the Tombo tape dispensers......everything started falling apart even with just on layer. Have come to really appreciate the liquid glue now that I've found one that doesn't leave lumps and waves on the cardstock. Plus, having that extra few seconds to move layers around to get them perfect is huge.

I use a long-retired dot runner, having purchased a gazillion refills, but if I had to buy new I’d get the larger of the two Kokuyo tape runners - they have two sizes, refills and are very easy to re-fill. They’re sold in various shops and on Amazon; just google Kokuyo. Jennifer McGuire also has some videos showing them.

I use ScorTape for an extremely strong hold, like for boxes or books. It comes in 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 inches etc. up to full sheets.

For liquid adhesive it’s either Ranger’s Multi Medium Matte (but I change the tip to one that I can make sure never clogs), or GinaK’s Connect Glue, which is incredibly easy to use and holds very well.

And when using Multi Medium Matte or some other adhesives, this glue holder comes in handy since the glue stays down by the tip. This seller was the first I’d seen to sell these; since then there are lots more: Large tier glue holder | Etsy

I was lucky when beginning to stamp in that a local stamp shop carried many types of adhesive to try out. I learned that ATGs are not my friend at all but some love them.

One size does not fit all.

I use tombow liquid for 96% of my projects. It's messy at times but holds forever!

Depends on for what. I have a box full of adhesives. I do advise to go with acid free as much as possible. Archival if you are scrapbooking or anything else you want to keep for years.

Double sided (DS) tape-I use Express It a lot bc it is cheaper. They have reg and high tack. A lot of people here like Scor-tape/Sookwang. That is very strong. I use that when there is a lot of embellishment weight or a 3D fancy fold...

I am not a fan of snails (hand held dispensers that may/may not be refillable) or ATG guns. (like the tape gun for packages but small tape) but some people love them. I just cut mine off the roll.

DS Sheets: for large detail dies like a mandela or to make my own glitter paper. Elizabeth craft, Stick It or Express it.

Liquid: Ranger Multi matte or Tombo green multi. I might use glossy accents to hold down embellishments also.

DS foam tape: I don't have a favorite. But many like 3M.

Dots/squares-again, not a fan of dispensers. I just use the peel offs. No special brand.

I have been using an ATG gun since 2006. My son worked for a 3M distributor
And received one as a sample. He gave it and a dozen refills for me to try.
He had told his boss I was a Scrapbooker. There was a learning curve ( 5 minutes).
I loved it immediately!! So economical!! I use the red tape (not acid free) for cards and acid free for scrapbooks. I get my tape at Michael’s very reasonable!!

Another fan of Tombow glue. I also like Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive--its another terrific glue. If I do a tape runner, I honestly really like Scrapbook.com's line--that stuff sticks great!

AdTech permanent runner for basic layering, Aleene's Jewel-it for permanent reliable hold and for intricate die cuts, Miracle tape from Viva Las Vegas Stamps for matching various widths- I have 'em all, red liner tape for really tough holding power, Sakura Quickie Glue pen for precision and ease of application on tiny things and die cut sentiments, glue dots in all their range of sizes and shapes for embellishments, and foam squares and circles for adding depth. I probably forgot some, but those are my most used.

I had trouble with my cards falling apart a little so I now buy Scotch Extra Strength Tape Runner. It’s available at Michael’s, Joann and Amazon. It’s so strong that when I tape two pieces of card stock and separate them, the paper tears. I’m using my 50% off coupon at Michael’s to stock up this week.

I mostly use Tombow liquid glue, but for small objects or fine line items, I recently discovered Sticky Specks. No mess and the hold is fantastic.

Couldn't live without my ATG gun for most of my main paper attachments. For smaller or word die cuts, Gina K's Connect glue works great as well as Rangers Multi Media Matte Glue. Both dry fast and clear.

My favorite liquid adhesive is Nuvo Deluxe adhesive, it has just the right consistency and I can easily control the amount, down to the tiniest drops and it doesn't kill my hand squeezing the bottle. My favorite tape runner is Kokuyo dot runner, it comes in several different sizes.

More and more I lean towards Art Glitter Glue used with a metal tip attachment. I find it more fluid than other liquid glues. It dries clear, and if I am in a hurry and worried about extra glue anywhere I just run my powder tool over any little areas of concern. A little goes a long way, and I like the size bottle that it comes in (doesn't run out or dry up). I purchase the bigger bottle to refill my small bottle.

Reptile glue liquid. I have lots of different adhesives but this stuff never lets me down. I put it in a small bottle with a fine needle tip. It holds EVERYTHING, even heavy stuff. I try others but nothing works like this for holding. Only downside is be sure you want it where you put it because it's never coming off once down, it grabs fast. Doesn't blob either.

Dry Adhesive- Double Sided Tape
Wet Adhesive- Scotch Permanent Glue Sticks
Foam Tape from Dollar Tree or make my own from fun foam.
Glue Dots from Dollar Tree or WalMart

Glues for embellishments- I have fallen in love with Daler Rowney's Matte Medium.

I love to do paper piecing. I do use specialty glue for my paper piecing. I put a lot of work into them. I can have like 30 pieces to put together. I use Zig Glue Pen and Tombow Mono Multi. I have time to fix my boo-boo's. Trust me I make a lot of boo-boo's, lol.

A note about Tombow Mono Multi- This is for the green bottle. It is latex so if you have latex allergy probably not the best glue to use. One of my friends uses Elmer's Repositionable Glue Stick for things that she needs to move around. Apparently Elmer's becomes permanent. I have some but I have only use it for things I want to be repositionable.

I gave up on tape runners. My go-to is Art Glitter glue. I recently found Reptile Glue, which is similar to AGG. Both dry clear, and you have wiggle room to ensure correct alignment. I do have some double sided tape that I use for large 3d projects.

Forgive me I have a migraine. I can't remember the name of this glue. There is a new glue on the market that is in a "honey bear" container. It is so cute.

Have any of you tried that glue? You can purchase it with several tips. It is kind of pricey but seems to have a following in the social media world.

For the life of me I can't remember the glue's name. I would love to hear reviews from you all who have tried it.

Mary Polanco highly recommends it because it still works if it gets frozen.
