Default Stamped Titles

I just came across this technique in a Hero Arts Catalog. It may seem simple to most of you, but since I'm a new "stamper in my scrapbooks" (I've practiced both these crafts for years - but always kept them separate) I thought it was pretty neat!

Using your computer, type and print your title using a large outlined font. Then, decorate your printed title with various stamps and colors. Cut out the title, leaving a border around the outline.

Neat idea! I have also printed out the title in a large font and then colored it in with an embossing marker, added embossing powder, heated it and had really "Wow!" title.

Teresa - that sounds cool too. Since I've just started stamping in my books, I'm not sure I'm ready to emboss in them however

Think 'baby steps'...

i've just started stamping in my scrapbooks, i always used to buy patterned paper which gets very expensive; now i am incorporing my stamps and saving some money and coming up with a new style....all good....

versamark stamp pads are great for making subtle patterned paper with stamps...the combinations between different color papers and stamps are endless.....then there are the colored inks.....

i am looking forward to making cards....it seems they would be much faster for the most part.....some of my scrapbook pages take hours.....stamps seem to speed up any task at hand....
