I unmounted all my stamps last summer and have never regretted it. (I had over 300 sets to do!) This thread has been a tremendous resource for the case inserts. Thanks to all of you for your hard work!

Can I just say I love all of you SO much? I JUST started actually unmounting my sets (I was in the "Contemplation Phase" for most of a year, or more) and I don't think I really would have ever started if I hadn't found out that people had made inserts for old sets! This is going to be so awesome! THANK YOU!
I just want to express my gratitude for all this effort! I am using my SU stamp sets so much more thanks to you guys- and can see the labels clearly without my Reading Glasses

I would like to know how important the spine images are to everyone. Do the inserts seem incomplete without them? Are they so small that they are not really useful? Does it matter to you if the spines have the images or not?
Truthfully, they help me a lot because I don't remember which stamp is in which set and I don't have a binder made with all of the images in it labeled by set.
I scan the cases on my shelf to find what I am looking for - perhaps if you have have been stamping longer, it wouldn't be an issue at all but it really helps me.
I understand how much work this is to do it so if you can't do it, I think everyone will understand but if you can - that is like Christmas!
Thanks for everyone doing this - you are awesome and then some!
Crafty Julia,
Here is Autumn Splendor. I am trying to do Background Basics but I can't find a good image of it. I know, I know, I should just go on to the next one but I get so, uh, focused I can't seem to switch paths sometimes.
Thank-you to all for your talent in making these inserts. I have a request if someone thats techno not challenged like me,would make a blank stampin-up green template that the top border goes around to the back. I want to do a full sheet of paper front and back for the DVD case so I can put more than one stamp-set in a container and stamp on the cover front and back and write on the spine. Boy thats clear as mud, isn't it. Hope someone understands, I would copy an example but there again you need to be more computer savey then me!!!!
I think she meant like a double template so the front and back both have a template. That was my interpretation but I'll let her answer you though.

I was looking for tart and tangy but was able to create it on my own! OMG!
Here it is. I don't know how to create a pdf, sorry.
I hope someone else needs this.
This one is done already according to the Excel worksheet which appears as the first post in this thread.
"For all you do" is post # 14 according to that list. Hope that this helps you - at least you will have 1 finished.
I just got the My Digital Software that these inserts were made with so once I
learn how and master it, I will try and post some of the inserts for others to continue to do what others have done by helping me.
Thanks everyone for all of your time and help!

I've redesigned the full case template. It is now on Google Docs. This is a pdf file. This document has lines and text showing where the data goes. I will add more versions soon.
In case the previous pdf links didn't work for you here they are again.
I've also added the MS Word versions. The jpg version is to show where to cut and fold.
These documents are editable. Here are the .doc versions. These a both the same except the one document has lines and text showing where the data goes. The one named DoubleFullCaseTemplate-Plain doesn't have any sample data.
Now that I'm working on unmounting a lot of my retired sets that I don't ever plan to sell, I'm wishing I'd been more vigilant about saving all the PDF catalog files! Thanks so much to everyone who's posted an insert layout!
Looking for:
Headline Alphabet
Kanji
Letterpress Alphabet
Small Script
Symbols of Solicitude
Touch of Nature
Todo lo Mejor (Best Yet, Spanish)

I wanted to be able to put two sets in one case and I also wanted an image on the insert so I designed this insert.
Unlike the other case inserts I have done, this one is a little more complicated. At some point I may try to convert it to MS Word but for now you must use a program that can edit PSD files.
This was done in Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. It has several layers and each layer must be edited individually. Each layer is self-descriptive I think. You just need to replace the text in the text boxes with your text and replace the images. I scanned my Framelits to get the images I used.
After printing out the insert you will need to cut it to size (thats what the blue line on the left side is for) and fold the spine area (thats what the small dotted line at the bottom of the page is for). You will also have to cut the top and bottom off. This should be approximately 7 x 10 when youre finished.
I know this document isnt perfect but after spending hours and hours on it, even with a starting place, I decided that good is good enough.
I realize this document wont be very useful for a lot of people but I still wanted to share it with those who know how to edit PSD files.
thank you kalakitty for sharing your template for making the cases, this will help me to reorganize my stamps (converting wood to clear mount). I love stampin up and have been making (or trying to make) my hand made cards. You are never too old to learn. Thanks you once again.
You ladies are the awesome-est ever! (is that even a word?) I converted my entire stamp storage system to the clear cases last year, but have been stumbling in getting them all labeled properly.
This thread is worth a million bucks, for sure. Thanks!!!
