Thank you for sharing the calendar(s) with us. I just opened the 2009 to work with -- you have inspired me to share the idea for bookmark gifts. I have been asked by a fairly large group of ladies at work to start lunchtime classes for things they could make for holiday gift giving. I will share your name/link, etc. for the source of the calendar and pictures of examples. Thank you again very much. Rene' Tucker
Thank you so very much for sharing this updated calendar with us.
Truly appreciate it.

Hi Cat,
I am making some coaster calendars and want to make some for friends in Australia. The problem is that they are a day ahead of us. SO, I was wondering if you have a template that doesn't have the numbers (dates) on it? I am computer challenged and tried to edit the ones you have posted but had no luck.
I look forward to hearing from you.

no it would be Saturday the 19th when we are Friday the 18th. Does that make sense? That's why I was thinking a blank tempate would be great. Thanks for your reply.

then the calendar is the same, right? each date is on the same day... i'm confused. sorry.
When it is Friday here, it is Saturday there. So if it was Friday the first here,it would be Saturday the second there. So no, it's not the same. Do you have a blank template with the days and no numbers? That would work also.

jackie - the calendar is still the same then... friday would be the first here, or the first there... just there 24 hours earlier.
Thank you Cat for faithfully & graciously providing these calendars! I appreciate it!
Thank you for the mini calendar template. My question is how do I attach them together for some one to just tear off...
thanks in advance.

i've seen it done a couple of different ways, but i typically just punch a small hole in each of the top corners and attach them with brads.
ahhhhh Cat - you are a DOLL!!
I have saved and used your templates since 07.
They are the greatest as you are for keeping us up"dated".
Thank you, thank you..................
Cat, TFS. You're always so awesome with sharing your goodies!
Y'all probably already got this figured out, but the CLOCK is ahead NOT the calendar. The calendar remains the same. If a person is confused on whether it's Friday or Saturday, they can just ask someone in their hemisphere. I do a lot of that when I cross the international date line - LOL.

Dumb question here. How does the person tear off the calender if it is in a plastic frame? I have tried to make these before and can't get all of the paper squished in the frame. I know I am missing something, because everyone else knows what the are doing. I like the one's in the CD cases too, so does everyone make 12 different backgrounds for each month, or just a generic and put the whole thing on one background. Is there a tutorial on these for people like me???? Help!!!
I believe the plastic frame calendars have the paper calendar attached to the outside of the frame where it can be torn off. What would go inside the frame is the design for the month. Good Luck!
Thank you for the calendars! I had ordered some online last year but can't remember where! I made some neat refrigerator calendars last year for a craft show using this type too! You can see it on my blog if you're interested in a different type of, really inexpensive, gift!

on my calendars, the background paper AND the calendars are inside the plastic frame. i usually cut my first layer a little smaller than 4x6 to give a little wiggle room and the paper i use for the calendars is thin, light-weight 'typing' paper. if you use cardstock, it's definitely too thick and it makes it hard to rip the month off when it's over. HTH
I made mine with those magnetic frames. I put the designer paper and stamped images inside and put the calendar outside! They can reuse it year after year! Hope that makes better sense of "my" project!

Cat and happy-stamper,
First ... thank you SO much, Cat, for doing these calendars!
Second ... to hold my calendar sheets together, I make sure all the tops are perfectly aligned, then apply 2-way glue to the top edges. With my fingers I press the sheets together and hold them for several seconds while the glue sets up. When dry, the sheets will then tear off perfectly just like paper on a writing tablet.
Next, I cut a piece of cardboard backing from a tablet to the size of the calendar, run a fine line of 2-way glue along the top, then glue the calendar to the cardboard.
These make such quick and inexpensive gifts ... I absolutely love them!
