My favorite trick is to cut an edge with deckle scissors, then run the painty along the edge giving a thin metallic line that follows the edge; very pretty! You can also use it to edge straight pieces or cuts with other decorative scissors.
Don't try to apply it to a stamp; it won't come off! I also like mine for putting gold highlights on stamped sentiments.
You can also use them on dominos, since it's a permanent ink.
I like to use the painty pen with the Inkworx Air Art tool. You just slide the pen into the marker area and then you can add a nice splattering of gold or silver onto your card. It creates a very nice look. When I show this at a party, I almost always sell both the air tool and the painty pen.
