Where did I see foil, ink and cuttlebug embossing?
I was blog surfing over the weekend and thought I had bookmarked a card in a blog that was absolutely gorgeous. I come to find out, I don't have it... hopefully someone else saw it and can get me back to it. All I remember is aluminum foil, cardstock, ink and embossing with a cuttlebug. anyone else remember seeing this?

The TJNL Aged Metal is an awesome technique but since I didn't have the product so I used aluminium foil.....the look is NOT the same but still nice. Here is a card that I did using alcohol inks to color the foil. I adhered the foil to CS with my Xyron and brayered to make it stick on good. Colored with AI then cuttlebugged then swipped with a Stazon pad. Stupid scan doesn't show how shiny it really is.

I'm thinking about getting a cuttlebug machine, does it come with any dies or embossing plates, or do I need to order those at the same time? Any advice will be taken gratefully.
This is a gorgeous card. Do you remember what month that the Aged Metal was in the TJNL? I need to look back through a few issues to find this one...it's great.

The cuttlebug comes with the A B & C plates needed to use the dies and embossing plates. It does not come with any of the decorative dies/plates. Those area all sold separately.

Hi Lynn - I believe this was a fairly recent technique in the TJNL - check your February/March newsletter.
