I got a bottle of walnut ink - the spray kind - and don't really know how to use it to get an 'aged' look on my cards. Do you spray directly onto the card? How far away should you spray? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
I must say that I don't understand what all the rage is about walnut ink. Can't you do the same techniques with a close to cocoa or chocolate chip ink pad? Or a permanent brown one? Someone explain please, and thank you.
I don't use it much, but do like it for the "splotchy" look it gives when you spray from 12 - 18" away, and also when you paint over it with an aquapainter. I haven't used it in any of my posted cards, or I'd be happy to share!
Location: In the great northwest! Is there anywhere better?

Here is a 6 x 6 scrapbook page I did using the walnut ink.
It is very wet and you can spray it. I am sure a chocolate chip reinker in a spray bottle would look almost the same. I just like the aged look it gives.
Thanks for sharing the link to your page, Leticia! I have a jar of Walnut Ink crystals sitting here, gathering dust while I've tried to muster the courage to use it . I'll have to give it a shot this weekend!
