Default Using Templates off websites

With all of the posts regarding templates for boxes, etc, I have a question.

I see all of these cool projects that use a template that someone found on a website (or SU site, book). The templates state that you need to increase the template say by 150% or something to that effect. Is there a trick to doing this other than making a copy on a copy machine and enlarging it? Where I work I can't just whip out my SU templates and make copies!

How do you do these? I feel like I'm limiting my creativity by not doing these kinds of projects.

TIA!

Yes, a copy machine is the way to do it. Luckily my home printer has that capability.

If not at work, maybe you can take a bunch to a copy shop like Kinkos.

I have found that some of the templates I have downloaded from websites are either in jpeg or gif format. If this is the case and you use adobe photoshop you can increase the size through this program and print it right from your computer. You would "select all" to highlight your image and then select "image size" under the menu then make your change and print.

You can also use the templates at the size they already are...it just makes a smaller box, card, or whatever. I often do this because then it fits on an 8 1/2 x 11 paper instead of a 12 x 12 paper.

Otherwise, I use Photoshop, Illustrator or take it to a copy place (usually Office Depot).
