torn paper marbling is a technique from the TJ newsletter - www.patstamps.com - if you haven't subscribed - here are details to this wonderful newsletter: (taken from the website)

Paper & Online Subscription Options:
3 issues: $9.00 (trial subscription)
6 issues (one year) $18.00
All Paper issues from 10-02 through 12-05 (20 issues) ~ $60.00

Paper, Online, and CD Options**:
Both CDs, plus the paper copies from 10-04 through 12-05: $53.95 (recommended)*
Both CDs plus the paper issues from 10-02 through 12-05: $86.00 (Save $3.95!)*

Each issue is filled with wonderful techniques, there is also an online bonus technique, lots of wonderful samples, step by step directions, online tutorials and more....

Now back to the technique - in my wording - use glossy CS, and chalk inks - cut glossy CS to size, tear a piece of scrap paper then place on your CS use your chalk inks to rub on your scrap image onto your CS, move the scrap piece in various directions, then repeat. You can also take a metallic pad and add that in for variation. FOR BETTER directions and online tutorial I really recomend that you subscribe to the newsletter - you won't regret it.

HTH
