You're probably using paper that is too thick. They used to sell envelope paper in the 04-05 IB&C but I can't seem to find it in this one. That paper was just the right weight and I'm sad to see it go...oh well!

I've always used a tiny ball tipped stylus to run all around and in the creases to score. Then cut on the score lines where they need to be cut. That way you don't get pencil or pen lines on the paper. If the template is sliding around too much you can use a repositionable tape or temporary adhesive to help. I rub my stylus ball on waxed paper and that seems to help it run smoothly too.

You could probably purchase a heavier weight copier paper to use. Then if you want to color your paper to match your SU colors, you can just brayer them and let dry. They'll be lighter to send in the mail that way too. Nothing like trying to mail a simple card and it winds up costing you a mint. LOL.

Hope that helped, let me know if you need more suggestions!

Cristal

I use the SU designer paper and LOVE the look-I also use teh stylus and it works really well!

Another option I saw somewhere was to get magazines (like National Geogrpahic) with cool photographic images and use those pages.
