Question tile stamping - watercoloring with stazon

OK. I have seen several examples in the galleries where people use the "watercoloring technique with stazon cleaner and sharpies". How exactly does this work?

stazon is permanent ink. I used it for coasters. I stamped the grapes with the purple and the leaves seperately onto the tile. worked better if not shiny ones. As the shiny will slide. I let them dry for a day and then I sprayed them with a matte sealant. and found little felt feet at the dollar tree. They were so cute I gave them as a gift.

Here are some coasters with instructions for blending the sharpies with the stazon cleaner:

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the link, Linda! I've tried q-tips and Sharpies but didn't get the effect I wanted. The Stazon cleaner sounds like just what I was missing.
