I use the thumping technique with the stamping set Lovely as a tree. I first ink up the group of trees with more mustard ink. Then I take my markers and tap the tips on the trees using fall colors. I also put some on the ground of the trees. I then huff on the stamp to moisten the ink, then stamp. It looks like colored leaves on the tree's. It looks great! Lovely as a tree was the first set I bought and seeing the thumping technique sold me on it.
Sorry, didn't answer sooner. I have never sent a picture before. So I will have to get someone to help me. But I will try to soon, maybe I can this weekend. But try the tumping with lovely as a tree set. You will love it!
Never heard of this technique before but it sounds like something I definitely want to try - when I finally buy Lovely as a Tree (it's been on my wish list for several months now). Thanks for sharing!
