Has anyone bought the Target brand double stick tape? It's a bit cheaper so I bought two of them and used one for the first time tonight.... AHHHHHHH it's soooo horrible! It's very thin and wrinkles really easily so I kept getting creases under my layers. Then it's really hard to rip off the roll (on the plastic sharp edge of course) and I had to push down and twist so hard that I broke the plastic and had to cut it off with a sissors!!!! I am returning the unopened one tomorrow and going back to 3M. Just a friendly warning!

I agree - and I was so excited when I saw it. I'm glad I only bought one. It is horrible, I can't get it to tear easily - it bunches up and then won't lay flat. I'm sticking (no pun intended) with Scotch. Sam's Club now has them, so I can get them a little cheaper than before.
I have bought double stick tape for $1.00 at the Family Dollar store. It is LePages brand, and it works great. Several of my friends buy it also, and they love it.
I've never tried the Target brand, thanks for the heads up. I have tried Duck brand ( I think that's what it called) and I hated it. It was also really thin, didn't hold at all. I ended up giving it to the kiddos!
I didn't like the Target brand at all, for the same reasons listed. :( I have been using carpet tape that I bought at the local hardware store. Works well for layering heavy pieces such as crimped paper, or on the bottom of several layers.
I will have to checkout our dollar store -that is where I bought the square foam "dots" and they seem to work well - I adhered polyclay hearts on a card and so far none of them have fallen off even though they are heavy.
