Spring card tutorials
Many people have asked me about the square spring cards I have created so I wrote a tutorial showing how to fold and crease the cardstock. I am very honored to have had my tutorial added to the resources section as well as having it highlighted as a weekly challenge. You can view the tutorial here

librarian - if you right click on the file name, then selects "open in new window", it should pop up. That's how I open them anyway. |

I checked out your "What's up at your end?" aka "What's up chicken butt?" card. Very cute. Love your sense of humor. Are this spring cards meant to stay sprung or do they fold down into an envelope? Thanks. Sheri

Hi "Shulsart",
I'm very much a newbie. Thanks for the tutorial. I can't wait to try it. Love your photo cards, very artistic & painterly. I guess I didn't reply to "Troopersma" correctly, but my first reply was directed towards her. Haven't quite got the hang of this yet. I'm still curious about the springing action. Will it pop back up if put in an envelope? Thanks again. |
Spring action
Yes, it will pop up when you pull it out of the envelope but after it has sat in an envelope for an extended time, it tends to want to stay flat. Thanks to all for the nice comments on my work and I am glad you are finding the instructions useful.

Very creative. Thanks for the info.

|
Thank you so much for sharing this template. I've managed to make a card from it and was so pleased with the result.

YA know, I have done some of these cards before I saw the tutorial you did (which was well done) but I never understood why it was called a spring card cause mine just dont "spring". After reading your tutorial and the posts here, I now know I was creasing way too hard so that everthing lay flat. I was having one of those *duh* moments. Thank you for sharing this!!
