Default Shaker Cards?

I have seen a lot of cute shaker cards as examples. How do you make them?

You could go to http://www.coxes.com/stamping/sample...directions.htm
Hope this helps. I've never made one myself but these directions seem pretty easy to understand. I you go to www.yahoo.com and do a search on Shaker Card Directions there are quite a few sites. Carol

Default Faker Shaker Card

Here is a "faker shaker" card that I made based on one that I saw on someone's website (?) You use a small cello bag, insert your stamped white cardstock, add your confetti (or snow crystals or beads), Tape shut, and adhere between a fun frame and colored cardstock. I will be doing this card as a make and take at our next Erie area demo meeting. Sorry, but you can't really see the bag and contents in the picture, but you should be able to get the idea.

Shaker cards are quite easy to make as I have made quite a few and they are on my cardmaking blog. Also I am organising a card swap on another group and we are doing xmas shaker cards which is quite good.

I have basic instructions for a shaker card if anyone want it.

Here's a tutorial on Pennywise Arts. There are lots of samples and templates for different shaped shakers too.

I haven't followed the links posted above, but if you have fun foam around, it's great for making the *sides* of your shaker box. You can use a colour that will match your papers a bit better than foam tape would. And also sometimes you can buy special moulded plastic windows, but then you are limited in shape. Large punched shapes with a smaller centre punched out are great.
