Default shadow of an image

I saw a card that had an image embossed. Underneath this embossed imaged was like a shadow of the embossed imaged. Versamark with pastels? Beautiful. I know it's hard without seeing the card, but any ideas?
THanks.

Default shadow

Was the shadow upside down?

no, the shadow was just like a shadow. Faded in the background, identical image, only enlarged a bit to create the shadow edges. I wish I have the picture.

sounds like a mistake I made....I stamped with Versa Mark...it dried so I couldn't put embossing powder on so I did it again but the images weren't perfect on top of one another..making a shadow.
